Well any shotgun will get the job done. It depends on how much $$$ you want to spend. Mossbergs are a good turkey gun and its what I use, I also have recommended to pther people on this board that Wal Mart has a Remington 870 Express Super-Mag in full Hardwoods HD. I guess you couldn't go wrong with a Benelli but thats some major $$$$$$.

Depends on what you are looking for. For the money, you can never go wrong with an 870. I personally have a browning BPS, is it the best? probably not, but it fit MY needs. Get a few ideas and then go out and shoulder a few and see which one feels the best when bringing it up. good luck.

You can't go wrong with a Mossberg 835 or a Remington 870. 3 1/2" shells is what you want your gun chambered for. You could always shoot smaller shells, but you'll have the capability to go to larger rounds anytime you want to increase the power in your load.

I love the Rem 870 that I got. It can handle anything. But last year i turned my Benelli sb2 into my turkey gun and love it. Well my shoulder loves it.

I use a single shot 10 ga. It would be a bit much for most ladies. I would just get about any 12 ga. with a full choke. It seems that you want a gun with a bit of weight. My Mossburg will kick the puddin' out of ya!

I use a Benelli Nova 12ga. 3.5" I pummeled one last season at 45 yards with it.

I'd say you'd be good with a Mossberg, Remington, Browning or Benelli. Of course, any solid 12 ga. with a full choke will do the trick really.

I like my Mossberg 500. I have added a simple red dot scope since this pic. If I were you, I would be sure to get a gun that shoots 3" mags.

Nice bird! Your smile says it all in that pic! As for what gun, can't really answer that question, it's a ford vs chevy issue. All of the above advice has been dead on though!
