    Default IN THE ZONE ! ! ! ! ! !

    7 Hours later I shot the bird.. I was shocked when I looked at my watch....I figured it only took me 3 hours. Ever happen to you?

    Yep, sure has. I was hunting Merriam turkeys in New Mexico. Worked a gobbler until mid afternoon and finally killed him. I looked at my watch and it was 3:15. I had no idea I had spent about 6 1/2 hours working on that gobbler. Time flys when you are having fun.

    LOL yes, I sure it happens all the time! I believe it toook me 4 hours to call in one of my big ones!

    Longest hunt for one bird was from 5am until 9:20am when I pulled the trigger on that gobbler.
    It was a Cat & Mouse game the entire morning, then I went back to his roost tree and called from there, BINGO!!! That was it, he came right in for the kill.
