Your turkey loads; do you prefer the speed of 1 3/4 oz OR more shot of the 2.0oz shot? I know it's about what your gun prefers..... but what do you prefer???

Warning: Trespassers will be shot.... survivors will be shot again......
Neither one...Last spring I discovered how the 3.5" Nitro 2 7/16 oz. 4x5x7 Hevi-shot load performed.
When I shot lead, I liked the 1 3/4oz Winchester Supreme 3" HV load of #5's out of an .665 Tru-Glo choke tube. But most chokes with a restriction of .665 will pattern #5's well. Same choke tube with 2oz of #4's did well too!! Personal preference all the way.
The heavier slower loads pattern better for me.

I'm shooting two different loads right now that I will later narrow down to one for hunting. Winchester Supreme 3 1/2" 2 oz. #5s and Federal Premium 3" 1 7/8 oz. #4s.

My 1300 patterns pretty decent with the winchester supreme 3 inch 1 7/8 oz #5's.
