Do they distort the sound?? I have heard hearingaids sound like you're listening in a tin can...the game ear looks like a hearingaid to me.....

Yeah, I bought the pair last year. Sure did help, although it's hard to tell how far away the bird is.

I had one and gave it away to someone on this forum a couple of years ago that had hearing problems.

It just bothered me that I couldn't course the direction of a gobbler well at all or tell how far he was away either. I just prefer going natural and maybe cup my hand over my ear to help on those distant gobbles.
