20 gauge choke tube quest.

I bought my daughter a 20 gauge rem 870 youth shotgun and an undertaker choke. I'm not too satisfied with the pattern though. using 3 inch turkey loads at 30 yards there are only a few lethal pellets. Is this as good as it gets with a 20 gauge? Or are there better choke tubes to try? Should I use 3 inch loads or would 2 3/4 pattern better?

We use Hastings chokes for our same shotguns and get a excellant pattern.

I will have to find them to see what the size of constriction is.

My daughter uses the Hastings in her 870 20 gauge. It throws a very nice pattern out to 35 yards with #6 shot.

thanks again everybody. I tried 6 and 4 and the 6 was better but not good. I'm going to look at the hastings. you saved me some time and worry, appreciate it.
