I heard a gobble tonight! I was cleaning up manure in the barn yard, loading it into the lawnmower cart, thinking nothing and all of a sudden I swear I heard a distant gobble from way up behind the house up in those fields or woods somewhere. I don't think I would have thought it was a gobble otherwise. Guess who is going up back in the morning and sitting on the old gravel pit aka highest spot?

I forgot to mention that after I get in from that, we're going steelhead fishing...so hopefulyl that is productive,lol. We finally nailed some of the chicken/duck thieves tonight. Fox den up on the hill and Andy had gotten a smoke bomb thing to put down it. He had his shotgun, I brought the .22 and we get up there and a mom and baby were just in the hole and he got both of them...felt bad for the youngster but we have way too much of a problem with them stealing chickens
