Three times over........................

The pic is of Lil Strut10's newly completed turkey masher.

It's an NEF NWTF Youth 20 ga. with a 3" chamber. Last year it was sent to Wright's in Illlinois for Rem-Choke threads. I screwed a XX-full Comp-N-Choke tube into that. Just a couple days ago it came back from my local smith wearing a new Weaver rail. I stuck a 30mm BSA red-dot on top of that.

Me and boy went out this afternoon and dialed some 3" Winchester Supreme #5 shot in on the red-dot. We only shot to 30 yards. But the goofy little thing is just plain nasty out that far. I'd let him stretch a shot a bit farther if he had to. Makes me wonder why I carry a darned 9 pound semi around.

At the same time, both his big (Lilmissdangerous) and little sissies got their 20's outfitted to match his. They'll all be set to flatten the gobblers for years to come.

I bought my new Benelli last year because my 11-87 was close to 11 pounds loaded. Less weight sure works better with age.

That's them overbuilt Remmy's fer ya.

I just weighed my SX2.
26" barrel empty with sling, swivels, choke tube, saddlemount and red-dot........ 8 lbs. 13 oz. About the same as my old BPS 10 ga, Geraldine. But the recoil profile is somewhat more tolerable.
