    Question Fall Hunting

    Does anyone hunt for turkeys in the fall? Is it more or less successful than spring and do you recommend it?
    Goals for 2010
    1. Shoot my first deer.
    2. Spend more time with family.
    3. Live, laugh, and love more.
    4. Smile and spread it to others.

    I recommend turkey hunting regardless of what season. Each has challenges to overcome and will vary year to year.
    Just being there is how I determine a success.

    As for getting a bird....I have taken more in the spring but that is because I am usually hunting deer mainly.

    Hunt them whenever you can! You will learn something each time, and the more you hunt, the more birds you will see, hear, and kill!
    The fog slowly lifts, an owl hoots, and a longbeard gobbles from his roost....ahh...heavenly...
