    Default dressing a turkey

    hey guys my season starts monday and i have never dressed a turkey before i think im just going to pluck the feathers and just cut the breast out wich i have know clue how to do cant be to hard any suggestion would help and what is the best way to cook the breast let me know thanks alot guys and have a good season

    Take all of your photos quickly. Within the first 1/2 hour (depending how warm it is outside) SKIN THE BIRD. Take both back legs and tie them up and apart. split the skin between the thighs and pull the skin down and off of the breast. Then get a knife and filet out the breast meat. If it is still warm it will filet out very easily. Next proceed to skin the legs and keep the upper half of the leg.

    If you do this when the bird is still warm it will be very easy. I see no need to pluck the bird when you are going to cut out the breast later.
