They are hunting me down!

Was walking down to the chicken coop this morning...was looking down along our fence line towards our plowed field and what do you know...about 80 yards or so out pops 3 turkeys that then disappeared behind a hill and back into our woods! They screamed at me "Ruthie get your gun!" then waved, laughed, and ran off

Maybe I should hunt turkeys this last weekend after all....I'll be over working on our little garden at camp tonight so maybe afterwards I'll drive through the state land, see if anything will shock gobble by chance...or maybe I'll just get up in the morning.

Looked to be either 3 hens....or 2 hens and that 1 jake that was hanging around....probably friends of Mr. Gobbler thats in my freezer...they are looking for me! lol

Well I had this dream last night I kept seeing these 2 big gobblers up behind the house...I was going to go hunt them but then this farmer with his big John Deere Dual Wheel tractor was chasing me....I woke up, whew!

I'm probably just going to leave the birds alone...shoot them on my trail cam,lol. I'll be back after them come fall.
