I know Ryan H was trying to decide on some new ones, Have you made your choice..
I can't decide what to use, I am thinking of going to an expandable witha bigger cut..

I'll use the Talon Force Turkey broad head I used last year. I was thinking about that Gobller guilatine but I don't know if I'm good enough to hit the neck even with the extra 1" of diameter.
I will be using the same setup that I use for deer. Draw weight of 53# and muzzy 4 bladed 100g![]()
i will also be using the same setup as for deer. only i've changed the broadheads that i shot my turkey with last year.
last year i shot my turkey with a 100 gr. Wasp Jak-Hammer. it dropped him where he stood and he died pretty much instantly.
i've since changed to a broadhead that flies further and more accurately. i'm now using the 100 gr. 2 bladed expandable First Cut. it flies true for me out to and including 40 yards with no adjustments.
I'll stick with my 100 grain Spitfires, but I do have to Gobbler Guilottine as a backup if I decide I need it.
I will be using the same broadheads I used for deer season, 100 grain Muzzy broadheads. I might try some bludgeon tips, I like the idea of shooting at the head, kill or clean miss.
Probably the NAP turkey heads. I've got some I bought right when they came out a couple years ago and have never tried them out.
I used the Gobbler Guilitine last year. Missed the turkey due to wind. The heads are great, but I'll warn you, they plane in windy conditions. I've shot a wood chuck and a couple rabbits with them. They are DEVISTATING. Just watch them in windy conditions.
Rocket Hammerheads. 100 grain. 2 in. cutting diameter.
Muzzy 4 blades, but I will blunt the tips
Same as for deer.
