Good luck with them. If you have private land to hunt you should be ok. If you are on public though good luck. There are too many people who don't know what they are doing and have them well educated.
I kind of figured that . . . Any public land birds are going to be more challenging with the added pressure. I guess it will make me work that much harder. In PA you have to be out of the woods by noon for turkeys right?
Yup, and you can't hunt on Sundays![]()
that is the spring season tho, i believe fall season u follow the normal hunting hours and can take hen or gobbler

I've killed a few.
Public land birds are challenging.....but definitely not impossible. Best bet is to walk farther in than the other guy is willing to.
You have to be done hunting by noon in the spring. Out of the woods by 1:00.
Fall season is along regular hunting hours.
Off The Porch is where it's at!!
While scouting for Deer I've seen a lot of turkey sign as well as birds. I'm sure I will have to buy a turkey tag this fall and carry an extra arrow or two in the quiver!
turkey tags come with the general license so no extra money to spend on another tag![]()

There is a lot of public land in PA and the birds are there. Just a matter of putting your time in.
Welcome! We have lots of birds here, and tons of hunters, lots of them that have no idea what they are doing, but its a blast anyway! Where you located??
The fog slowly lifts, an owl hoots, and a longbeard gobbles from his roost....ahh...heavenly...
Seen three nice long beards today...one even had a double beard with real nice spurs!
LIFE isn't about waiting out the storm...rather, its learning how to dance in the rain!

Just remember this in the fall you can use either rifle or shotgun.
They arent too awful bad if you do your homework. I have killed birds on both public and private land. As long as you do your scouting you will be fine! Best of luck!
