    Default Roosters Crowing

Heard the first pheasant crowing of the season this morning.

If you build it, they will come.

Yup, there was one in my yard a couple days ago going ballistic. I'm still waiting to see if the few that were hanging around last year multiplied at all.

No, but it might have been a heron, Aaron (that rhymes BTW)

As we ate dinner last night, there was a c ock bird running back and forth right past my back fence. It was funny, He'd fan up, crow, put his head down and run the full length of the yard and repeat. What a goofy looking bird when they run.

Sure easy to see how they can run out of a field and out of shotgun range though. Man, those things can move when they want to.

Used to hear it all the time in the little buffer strip behind where i played baseball. Used to turkey hunt a place where the next place over would have c-ocks going all day long......I love that sound, reminds me of a november point/flush...gets the blood going every time
