    to answer your question, no i have never tried with a handgun. they are restricted and some are prohibited weapons in Canada, and you can only use them in shooting clubs. even to do that is a big hassle.....

    Very sweet gun...simply for aesthetics I like the blued version better.

    I used to practice constantly with a MKI.
    I fired a 10 shot group at 50 yards, standing with shooting sticks for a rest (iron sights) and kept the group a shade under 2 inches.
    I think I still have the target somewhere...may have to look for it...

    I've tried a few times to hit some bunnies with my 38 Ruger Security Six but never had much luck. Was fun though.
