One reason I don't hunt them things anymore. Too tough to clean. Don't care for the taste either.
I always used a sharp knife and a pair of pliers to pull the skin off.
I just put a small slit in the back of the neck, and gently worked the skin downward... and used a pair of cutting dikes to snip the feet and tailbone off... when the skin was off just make an incision down the belly and remove the guts and you're done......,,, OH YEAH don't forget to remove the head....

Heh, Well I will be sure to do It vermonts way next time I shoot a squirrel.
