    Default Bobtail Squirrel

I was in the stand yesterday morning, and I dunno what it was, but the squirrels were everywhere!! I have sat this stand a few times, but never seen that many squirrels!!

Anyway, there was a bobtail squirrel that came by. Only had 2-3" of a tail. He looked like a broken teeter-totter bouncing through the woods. lol Most squirrels look kinda graceful....not this guy. I thought about shooting him, but I didn't feel like killing anything yesterday..........

I think thats mainly from fighting. Ive heard that territorial squirrels will also nuder a less mature male. I have to believe it because we even killed a male with no testicles this past weekend.

If that is the truth id be willing to bet they are biting of each others tails.

hahhaha yeah i might need my acorns down the road!!! when i'm deer hunting i won't let them things get too close to me b/c you never know what the heck they'll do. they may latch on to you and then you done fer. i'm tempted to take my 10/22 to the woods instead of my 7 mag one morning but my luck i'll see the biggest deer and i'll only have my 10/22.
