nope... I'm in southern Indiana and we have Cotton Tails.... but I'll find a albino Rabbit and tell ya how it tastes!
We eat em' here. They taste good. Its been years so to try and describe the flavor would be tough, but over the years as a kids we ate a lot of them. Also called varying hares....btw.![]()
Snow Shoes taste like any other wild rabbit...If you have never had rabbit and are going to hunt some boy you are in for a treat these critters are unbelievable they are great alone or in a stew......Happy Hunting...

After hunting and getting ready to feed on some rabbits I like to take the bones with skin on them and boil the skin and bones for several hours until the skin comes off and then fix it up in some spicy gumbo
I've ate them since I was a kid, they are great baked in the oven covered with mushroom soup !!

nope
i would imagine they are like eating a leather shoe, but i have never eaten them, never thought about it
I have shot rabbits but never eat them. I usually give them to a friend.
They are great-you can coat the legs and prepare themlike hot wings or add tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, etc and cook them in a slow cooker-yumyum. Why shoot them if your not gonna eat them lol.
