Well I had to keep the tradition going this year of going rabbit hunting the day after thanksgiving.. This time i decided to drag kyle along lol, this was his first rabbit hunt.. It started off slow and after walking along a while we kicked one up and i took a shot and missed him, a little while later we jumped another and i got him. We saw a few more and also ran into a bowhunter and im sure he wasnt happy.. We was walking through the last brushy field when i walked up on this dead buck, just a 7pt and he has velvet on so i dont know if he was hit by a car in the summer or maybe he still had velvet early in the season and was shot and not found, or maybe he was poached i dunno.. Anyway on the last fencerow on our war to the truck we kicked up a dove and kyle shot it, his first dove.. I dont know how much fun he had but i had a blast! ok heres a couple pics of the hunt..

haha whos them two good looking fellas there. oh thats us. ha i had fun minus my legs all being scratched to heck and back from them darn briars.

Congrats! Nice skull there and that rabbit will be some good eating! the dove...I dunno, haven't had any before...suspect it'll taste like pigeon.....lmbo..don't know that one either:-P
