    Default Bird hunter for life

Wow yesterday was my first ever bird hunt with dogs. I have been kicking them up but my uncle and cousin took me out yesterday it was amazing!!! Í'm hooked right now with school I don't have time to own a dog but after I get out I'll own me one.

We went up to the farm had some really good sign in the snow and what not and the dogs run hard jumped up a couple no shots. Then they took me down to the farm and we got some chuckers out of the pin they raise birds. They set em out then we got the dogs out to work them a bit and I shot 5 and my uncle shot 1. I'm hooked for life now. Can't say it'll ever take over from bowhunting but I can see this taking up alot of my time in the future. That was amazing.

Some people go to church and think about hunting. Others go hunting and think about God.

Yep, they are a lot of fun for sure. I've owned a Brittney and English Setter, both were great dogs. I hunted behind GSP's growing up. Watching a dog work is a lot of fun, and the rush when they go up on point is tough to beat.

Sadly, we don't have too many birds around me anymore, so I've concentrated on bowhunting more than anything else.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because you were there.
