Dang Squirrels

Almost all of the sheds my buddy and I have found this year have been eaten up by squirrels or mice. It is really aggravating to see nice sheds get eaten up.... I found one last week, it could not have been laying there for a week, and the tip on every point had been eaten off. It's getting really frustrating

The antler on the right of the picture.. you can see on the G3 how it comes to that sharp point.. every tine is like that.. about 1 inch down from the end.. it's been nibbled.

yea they are bad about that around here too, seems like all the sheds i find are chewed on.. nice sheds btw saw em in the shed hunting forum

Thanks Hardwood. I believe this August.. I may be doing some squirrel thinning!! I usually squirrel hunt, but I may be going a little harder than usual. This is the best year I have had for shed hunting, and it stinks to have sheds chewed up.

Seen that many times, especially on older sheds, porcupines do the same thing....

It's near impossible Todd. It seems like the squirrels stalk the deer, and wait for em to drop their antlers LOL.
