    Default Opening Day of....

Squirrel season is this Monday, Sept. 1 for myself and I'm sure others as well. Anyone going out? I'm debatingo n it because they are calling for something like 80 degrees that day so it's going to be warm....but I can't shoot any squirrels from the living room

I think I might take the .22 if I go out. Good news is we have a nice acorn crop and it's a Beech nut year so hunting for squirrel, deer, turkey should be good this year

Ours doesn't open until the 15th and I'm trying to put together a weekend to stay at the turkey cabin. I'll be taking my kids along. My daughter, 10, will be able to hunt with her own gun this year and my 7 year old son has been talking about squirrel hunting ever since the last time we made it out last year. I hope it can come together.

I want to dove hunt! I haven't heard if anyone in Michigan will try to pass the law again. Probably won't until we have another turn around in the Governor's office.

Squirrel opens tomorrow I think, but so does dove, so I'll be sitting on my bucket in my buddy's millet field tomorrow morning.
