well team lets giver all we got this year. what shall we call our team , any ideas out there ? i'll be hunting wis. the week of may 4-8. i'm 7 toms in 7 yrs. and still confident in this year . seeing lots of birds.lets here about the rest of the team and suggestions for team name!

i have been practicing shooting. I have been really good at it . i will in a blind. We will be gowing to missouri to hunt this year. We saw a lot of turkeys last year.last year in missouri me and my sister called up 2 turkeys when we were in the car.

Hey I'm Lori and will also be hunting in WI May 4-8 and then again May 18-22. I also am 7 Toms for 7 years. The last couple of years in this contest I have gotten one of the largest birds (scores) and hopefully that will continue this year.

Let's go get 'em!! I haven't looked to see what names are out there yet so let's pick a "good" one. lol

well it looks like almost everyone found the team post. lori,i had two tags last year and got two. i only got one tag this year though. it's going to be tougher this year because four out of the 5 of us got the same week. sounds like we got a good team going here. now as far as a team name goes ,so far we got ghost gobblers. here are a few i thought of , 1.wattle whackers 2.strutting toms 3.long spurs 4.limb hangers 5. turkey's fear us. anyone else have any suggestions or if you see a name you like just say so.

i see you are the youth of the group. so how old are you and have you gone turkey hunting before ,any luck?

i am 8 years old. I have gone turkey hunting with my dad in missouri the last 2 years. This will be the first year I will get to shoot. We always see turkeys and my dad has shot several.

be sure to let your dad know that you are to shoot the biggest bird with 1 1/2 inch spurs and a 13" beard. but really any bird will do. good luck kestrell. remember to thank your dad for taking you out turkey hunting, you'll enjoy it the rest of your life.

strut, I'm up in northeast ohio. I hunt Astabula and Geauga counties, both are loaded with birds. looking forward to another good season

muggs last yr in se ohio we had a hard time.it was the worse we had since 1986 when we had our first season..the record shows we killed 1 more bird than in 2003 but they counted in the youth hunt also the youth hunt here was great they were gobbling and they would come running..it ended on sunday..monday..nothing they shut up..was hard hunting the rest of the season

Yeah, it doesn't take them long to figure out they're being hunted.

It's nice to see the youngsters get a chance but it really makes it hard on the rest of us huh?

I'm wondering what kind of effect this harsh winter is going to have on their numbers, up north here, it's been really cold, all season.
