OK guy's here is the story with me and my hunting here in Vermont...

I work retail 6 days a week with only Sundays off....The law here in the Northern part of the state only allows us to hunt these great birds from 6am-12noon, and I can only tag a TOM so as you see I'm fairly limited to my outings.....I'm sorry you guys got hung with me, but I will give it my all for ya's........

I just wanted to be upfront right from the get go, just incase a new team member is wanted by you all....

[/ QUOTE ] This is only my second time. I am no pro turkey hunter I assure you. I will be working at it pretty hard for sure. I should be able to hunt 9-11 days of the season. Going to start scouting in a month ar so. Lots of snow here..With alot more coming. I have not been seeing many birds while driving lately. It is like they dissapeared. ????? If I get one early, maybe I could head out to VT some evening for a morning hunt with you. That would be fun.

Same here Jim......We had a good bunch of them then when the Foxes showed up they went into hiding, but Im not going to give up......we have a big storm moving in right now and they are calling for 14-24" of snow by this Wed. Maybe I will get some luck....in May

This is my story... This will be my 7th season chasing turkeys (in Missouri)... first 2 seasons I had no idea what I was doing and got skunked... next 3 seasons I got some things figured out and limited out (2 birds) each year... last year only took the bow and got skunked, if I would have had the shotgun I would have limited out without a problem...

This year I have alot going on and won't be able to get out as much as the last several years but hopefully will get at least 9 days in. Also I will be taking my 8 year old daughter and letting her try to shoot her first bird, so she is my first priority.

As far as a team name goes whatever you guys want is fine with me.

Definately the duaghter comes first, and Im sure we will all agree to that...I hope she bags a trohpy if not hey you got to spend some quality time with her... and that's what it's all about.
So it looks like our team is going out to just have fun with no pressure and that sounds good to me...
