    day was great but no deer but the condition were great overcast no wind see a couple does but they were way out there.. Ohwell had a good time just being in the woods [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

    that's the spirit---my wife thinks i am absolutely crazy to want to go sit in a tree for hours and not see a single deer----i just love being in the woods!

    11-7-03 tonight its hard to sleep knowing rut is on and im going hunting all day tomorrow hopefully I'll be entering a good day tomorrow here in the journal LOL

    11-8-03 today out hunting seen 4 deer 3 bucks and one doe no shooters at closing time I got down from my stand figured I go check my gametracker I have on other side of the woods .
    I tried using a drag rag today and when I was done hunting I had no place to put it forgot bag in my trunk . so while walking threw the woods i just hooked it back on my boot . when I got to the gametracker I noticed 21 pics on it so I started changing film .
    When I was almost completed switching film I heard something coming my way at first I thought my friend decided to leave the woods the way I was so I figured it was him ..
    Well I almost was done then I looked to my right and not more then ten yards away was a nice buck he stomped and snorted and took off for a monent I thought I was in trouble LOL .. this whole expierence was a intense situation ...
    anyway I guess Ill never forget my drag rag bag again ...

    11-15-03 awesome mourning right at light doe walk threw with buck chasing around 7 45 the action picked up had another doe come threw . 15 minutes later monster buck comes down fence so fast no chance to shot grrrrrr!!!! next a spiker comes threw sniffin going back out right after lunch see what the afternoon brings ...

    its been awile since posting last weekend all I seen was doe opening rifleweekend.. finally tonite I went to shotgun county sat In a spot that was the first place I ever hunted that day I shot 8 times at a buck and missed .. must of been buck fever [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] . well today got to my tree about 3:30 4oclock rolled around I looked to my left out into the marsh and here comes a buck man it was picture perfect he reached the edge of the feild between me and the marsh .he turned broadside and I let the 12 gauge beretta rip and WHAM he dropped shot was a little high but it blew his back apart!!! all in all this season has rocked have seen and passed up many bucks during bow I shot the biggest buck of my life 164 1/2 BC rough score then 3 weeks later shot a 130 class in early rifle season and my 7 pointer now .. hes alittle small only 13 inch spread but with 1 day left in gun season the freezer needed meat [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

    well finally got the pics back from the trip I took in late october .it was a three day hunting trip to a game preserve in northern wi it was my wedding present from my wife .It was a great time saw lots of mature bucks ! the best part was I shot my bigger one 3 weeks earlier in the wild so this year I would have to say is best season I ever had !!!

    well season is almost here and this is were I stand:
    stands are up
    got the doghouse rdy to hunt
    new setup is just jammin
    got a few good pics before gametracker took a dump
