Oh yeah, thought it would be cool if the team all shared a little about their plans for the upcoming season.

I have archery tags for Illinois this season, as well as, my lifetime licenses here in Indiana. If all goes well, I should get a chance for a "good" deer. If you include the chances at deer from Archery, Shotgun, Muzzleloader, and Late Archery.......

Hey team mates. I just got in from hanging some stands, and see I'm on team 15. My name is John, I'm from Southern Connecticut. I archery hunt, shotgun hunt, and muzzle loader hunt, maimly on state land, but do have a few pieces of private property. I'm pumped for deer hunting, archery starts 2 weeks from today. Looking forward to hanging out here with you guys the next few months.

Deer season starts on Oct. 15th with archery season. I plan on getting out there every chance I get. When football season is over (I'm a High School Band Director(yes, there are straight band directors, and some hunt and fish) I'll get out about every other day and hunt untill dark. We have a pretty short gun season and only 3 days for muzzel loading, but archery season goes through untill feb. 15. I plan on being out there untill I get my limit.

That brings be to my next question. At 5 points per deer plus antlers. How many points are possible with this team if each of us gets our lowest point total while also tagging out in our area?
Here's how it breaks down for me with the lowest total if I limit out.

    2 doe = 10 points
    1 buck with 6pt rule.= 35pts
    total 45 pts. possible.
    Is this correct scoring?
    If not let me know.
Good luck to you early hunters.
May the wind be in your face and the bucks be big and stupid.

John... you can only submit one deer per person. If you submit a deer and then get on that scores better, you can upgrade your deer.

Just checking in! My name is Josh and I'll be hunting in Missouri again this year. I hunt with bow and rifle. I plan to get out as much as possible without my wife asking for a divorce! I'm deployed overseas right now, but I'll be back home mid-September. I'll miss the first few weeks of the bow season (getting my gear up to par) but then I'll be a hunting fool.

Alright boys time to get ready. Obviously I'm hunting up here in Saskatchewan. Our bow season is on right now, our muzzleloader opens Oct. 1 and rifle, first week in November. I won't poke around much until they're out of velvet, I like the hard horn look way more. I hunt with bow, muzzleloader and rifle but we only get one buck tag so I'm picky. Hopefully I get a crack at a good one or two as I'm holding onto the tag until I do, this could help us or hurt us. Best of luck guys.
