BTW- My name is David, I'll be hunting both Georgia and Alabama. I will be hunting new grounds for bow season in Georgia, that starts next weekend. Once Alabama's season starts next month, I'll do most of my hunting there. I'm sure I'll get something, last year I got two does and a nine pointer, the year before I got four does, a seven, and an eight pointer.

rutnroy is here and ready for some fun. had a great time with the turkey contest this past spring even though we didn't win. but got to know a little bit about my team mates. i'll be hunting waupaca county in wis. this fall. we are in a earn a abuck unit in which we have to shoot a doe before we can harvest a buck.plenty of does around so i hope i get one right away.my largest buck so far is a 9 pt. , 18 " spread that scored 136 5/8. i will try to think of some team names and post later. good luck to team 10. i would have to rate our team a 10!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh boy!!! Is this team in luck or what??????? Don't ya'll know that with our new PA deer regs, there's a 170" buck behind everybody's house?

How much does a doe score??

Anyhoo...........don't know how much help I'll be. I plan on shooting the first two big does that walk under me. As for a buck........I won't be shooting one unless it's a really good one. Chances of that are fairly bleak around here, no matter what all the hunting mags tell you.

I have been getting my hunting spot fixed up and am ready. I killed 2 7pts last year and this year I am holding out for greater than 120 in. This ought to be a good year.

Ok I am here too.
Been scouting out my 76 acre piece and have about 40 deer I see at any given time. Groups about 9 to 15 in size.
Mostly does and fawns but I did see a piar of nice 8 pointers hitting the clover 100 yards in front of my box stand a week ago still in velvet. I got a nice 7 pointer out of that stand last year.

I put a "No Spike" rule into effect this year so the 5 of those I see all the time are safe.

I have some major fat old doe and plan to take them out in Bow season and save the horns for our buck only rifle season.
Unfortunately VT is not a big buck state so I will be doing good to get one period but should get us some Doe points. LOL
