Default IMPORTANT: Must Read for Turkey Contest Teams

Guys, take a few minutes to search the UDJ's for your team post. Look for either the team number or a team member's post.

Also, in order to make your posts a little easier to read and navigate, try following these suggestions:

    1. After checking in, try to refrain from posting every detail about your season(see tip 4). Keep it to successful harvests and near misses.

    2. When posting pictures, make them as small as possible without losing clarity. 500 pixels wide is more than enough.

    3. When replying to your Team's post, change the subject heading. Instead of Re: Team 5, type in 10 pointer down or I got one. This way, a member can view the post threaded and be able to read only successful posts.

    4. If you already have a UDJ, use links to it instead of repeating your story.

Keep in mind that Realtree is not sponsoring this contest.

Keep your posts clean and honest.

    Good Luck!!

also Kevin , how about making all the teams as stickys ?
that way they can find there team easily and it would keep other guys journals not on the second or third page..

it would kind of keep them confined to just there sticky which would be better for us that arent on a team and we can read whos winning...

Just a question, in the turkey forum it was asked that all turkey contest info be posted in here to aviod filling up that area which is a great idea. However it also said come here to talk "smack". I have mixed feeling about that idea since it might cause one to brandbash, and most of us now how against the rules that is around here, just wondering what others think about that.
