Hey folks, I just got back from weekend opening morning for duck and grouse. Bagged some of both, had a heck of a time and just wanted you guys to know this: As I was piling apples at my stand for an early start, I scared 2 does, a fawn and what looked to me like a very, very large mature buck. I couldnt get a rack size though. I hope this buck comes around on the 15th, he will surely give us MAJOR points. Estimating 220 lbs.

way to go gator!!!!!! sure sign of good things to come.just curious how this scoring thing works.5 points for any deer,plus 1 point for each tine.doe=5 points.4x4=8points +5 =13 total points?is this correct?

Yeah, I think that is the way it works, I'm not real sure myself!! The rules are posted in the deer hunting forums
