We can shoot coyotes year-round so I usually take one during rifle season. This year was my first with a bow. Smacked him at 25 yards. It was almost as big of a rush as drawing back on a whitetail.
I have yet to relaese on one but have contemplated doing it numerous times while whitetail hunting.I haven't done it mainly because I think I'll miss an opportunity at Mr. Big. Drawing on them or just calling them in is fun though. This year I think I'll drop a few after the deer season is over.

if i acutally go hunting for yotes i take my .25-06--now if one happens to walk under my stand while bowhunting--you can bet i'll be slinging an arrow.

I have shot one with the bow while deer hunting and it was awesome. I need to start doing it on a regular basis.
Never had the op to draw on a yote, but rest asured, when I do.... I will.
