best time for yote huntin

Coyotes can be called all times of the eyar, I usually hutn them from nov1-feb 15 or so!in jan and feb they are amting so do noit seem to call as much as they do other times of the year to distress calls, I ahve my best luck with howlers at this time, If you sound like a mate, they coem in, if you sound like another coyote they coem in to make sure you are not in there area, theya re really territorial this tiem of year and it really helps with the howler! I have called a bit in sept and oct and they do call ok, I find the best way is to sound like a pup fighting a rabbit , Others nmight be able to help with the rest of the year, i just have not hunted it at all!!

I call them primarily October thru March. Though I'll whack 'em given the opportunity at any time of the year. Yotes are like fleas out my way.
