    Default varmint barrel for my encore

    im looking to get a varmint barrel for my encore. now im trying to chose between a 22-250 and a 25-06. if you had to chose between strickly on the grounds for varmint hunting and recreational shooting, what one and why?

    If I were you I would look at the .223 REM. It is cheap to shoot, It has lite recoil and It's a great varmint caliber. But if the .22-250 and the .25-06 are only two choice's you would want, I would go with the .22-250, It is cheaper to shoot, It has lighter recoil than the .25-06
