25-06???

Thinking about getting one and was wondering if anyone on here shoots one and what kind of range you get with it.I want to get a NEF single shot.Thanks.

I plan on getting a .25-06 soon. Seems like an awesome varmint/big deer rifle. Flat shooting, not too big, not too small. My kinda gun

I love my .25-06. I have never shot anything with it that went more than 10 yards from where it was shot! That includes the 8 point I shot this year and about 15 hogs. It is an awesome shooting gun. I use the 120 grain core-lokts. I have shot 2 yotes with that round and they both dropped right where they were shot---not very forgiving on the pelts though--but I don't skin them anyway.

My longest shot with it was 176 yards on a big hog and it dropped in its track.
