    Default Suspension Lift Monday

Dodger is getting a 6 inch suspension lift installed Monday. Haven't had time to do much work to it since I've been in PA working. Finally made it back to Oklahoma last weekend to get it and drove it back. I'm following the 6incher with a 3 inch body lift for 9 inches of total lift. Then I'm gonna trade out the 33's for some 37's on the tires. Should all be completed within the next 3 weeks. She's gonna look badass.

What are you going to do about the Slip Yoke Eliminator?
    What about the axle wrap?
What about the big gaping hole between the bumpers and body?
What about the shifter for your 4WD?
What about the fuel lines that are mounted to the frame as well as the body?
And 37's? Could you scream, "I'm a little girl anymore"? Go to 40s pansy.

Oh and Gap guards for the body lift bud. I looked at a rig today with the same setup and it's sweet!

Nice! That should look BA! Can't wait to see the pics after it's done.

What brand of suspension lift did you end up getting?

I dont get it? You got 6 inches and cant tell it's been lifted? I bet it's the tires, with the same ones on there you're not looking at the total effect yet.

Step back 20', get on your knees and then look at it, bet you'll notice the height difference then. Yeah, BA!

Wait till you get the bigger tires put on. Between the leveling kit and the suspension kit is probably only about 3" differance, so it probably doesn't look that noticeable to the naked eye. Trust me, after you have the body lift put on and get the bigger meats under there it should look plenty big. The new meats will make all the differance.

Another thing is they may not have torsion bars cranked enough. The kit I installed actually was adjusteable between 4" and 6" in the front by adjusting the bars. I set mine at 5" and cleared 35's-no problem. I would ask them how much they raised the front to see what the actual numbers were.

I'm going to go with 37's which I will prolly order tomorrow. I think I'm gonna go with BFG Mudders. I sure hope your right that it will increase the height cause it's barely bigger than it was. I got 4 inches extra on my fenders....not 6.

4" higher than stock, or 4" higher than it was with the leveling kit?

I don't remember what the numbers on mine were, but I measured from the ground to the center of the wheel well before I installed the lift, and adjusted the bars until it was 5" taller after the lift was on.
