My son`s first goose hunt

This is a pic of my 13 yr old on his first goose hunt. This was the one and only goose he shot. We shot 30 geese in our party of six and his was the only one to have a band. It took me 35 yrs of waterfowling before I got my first band .
A proud Dad moment.

Congratulations to both of you!!! I know how proud it makes you when your child gets his or her first. My son just shot his first wood duck and I couldn't be prouder if I shot it myself.

My son is only 4 months old and I can't wait to be able to do stuff with him. I like to tell him stories about all the fun we are going to have hunting and fishing, he just smiles and drools appropriately.
