    i was wondering if anyone can tell me a website for training bird dogs or if u could tell me a few tips.

    My biggest thing is not to be too excited about certain things. If you are an excited trainer, you make for a hyper puppy and dog.

    Praise is calm, scolding is firm but not mean.

    Get him on the bumbers and as soon as he carries, and holds(this is after force fetch)...strap a duck wing on with zip ties...leave the ties kinda sharp(after snipping) and this should help with softening his mouth.

    I have heard that water dog and field dog are great videos and/or books.
