2 is the limit up here in NY. We have lots too, but I feel 2 a day is enough for such a great looking bird.
Yep, 2 a day here in Alabama also.
Two here also....RTF is right..Thats plenty. Woodies are the best looking duck around in my book. Heres mine....

nope, up here it is just the # of birds per day total. Nothing about how many of any one species.
It's 2 here in GA. There are lots of woodies here in GA. Find you a marsh or flooded timber and there will be woodies somewhere in there.
2 in OK. I know where several are....for a price I will get you on a couple.....![]()
In the Mississippi flyway, the limit is two. It may be different in other flyways.
I thought duck limits where set by the feds??
i believe it's 2 in Ohio too. i haven't hunted ducks in 3 or 4 years, don't really know.
Doesn't make a difference what the limit is MN, no ducks around to shoot! Supposed limit is 2, but we were lucky to see that many a day this year. Really sucks after you spend the winter making 35 boxes and hanging them up with the other 50 that were already on the property. Did I mention this is over 5 miles of oak river bottom? Used to be prime woodie territory.
Anyway, duck numbers don't affect the amount of smoke our DNR is allowed to blow up our hind ends with reports every spring of "record mallard hatch" , "most woodies since time began", etc.....![]()
2 in AR. i have one hole we hunt where a lot of ducks roost close by. you have to sneak in, in the mornings and you dont throw out the decoys you set them out quietly. you dont slide the action open and let it slam shut, you ease it shut. it is very tedious to get in and set up undetected but it is worth it to see and hear a 1000 or so woodies and 100 or more mallards wake up every morning.
