I love to go out and build our own. Something about going out and finding a tree and cover, just pumps me up!!

My husband made mine from aluminum. He's a great welder. Also have a ladderstand I bought from a tinsmith here in town that makes them.

My husband also made an elevated shooting house from a port-a-potty that he cut in half and modified . Sounds silly I know but it looks like something you would buy out of a catalog.

my husband makes mine too, but i like the mobility of a climber(summit), just depends on where i feel like hunting if i use one of the ladders or the climber...

I love my climber too. It's the one my husband made. I like it cause it faces the tree. I simply cannot use the climbers that face AWAY. I can climb with them but when it comes time to turn around... Little scared of that.

Don't have a problem with heights as long as I don't have to stand up and turn around. Silly, I know.
And I don't really like shooting houses either. Too limited in your senses.

I have 3 gorilla hang ons, one north starr hang on, and a summit climber. For the hang on stands I have a set of rivers edge climbing sticks for each stand.
