    Default Antelope hunt

    We get to go on an archery antelope hunt in Montana this year. I have never done this before. Hopefully it will be a fun experience.

    When I was turkey hunting out in South Dakota they were everywhere in the plains area. Beautiful animals! Good luck and you'll have to let us know how it went!

    LL, it won't "Hopefully" be a fun time....it will be a blast guaranteed........you may not be guarranteed a filled tag, but it will be tons of fun.....a lot of work most of the time, but rewarding in many ways.....

    So when's the big trip ??

    I'm assuming you'll be hunting over a water hole or windmill. Spot & stalk with a bow would be to say the least VERY Challenging.

    Water holes and fence crossings are good ambush spots, but antelope respond very well to decoys during the rut. I live in Montana and plan on trying both strategies this fall - only 69 days away - but who's counting
