Hunting Season this fall

Hey Ladies. When does your hunting season start and what is your first hunt for??

I will be doing early goose first then archery deer in mid-September. Followed by pheasant/grouse and waterfowl (my favorite!) and turkey mid-October...

i've got to work the check station opening morning,last weekend in sept.....but i will be hunting archery the 2nd morning..........

I am not much into bird hunting (besides turkeys), so the first time I will be out hunting is October 23 for the youth hunt. I won't be actually hunting, but taking my one of my two boys out to try for their first deer. My season starts Nov. 1st!! Seems like a long wait, but I need some new clothes, so it will take that long to find some women's stuff that fits! LOL

Each year i help with deer counts, 2 times a week for a month, then when season opens if i dont have any hunts i'll help out at the check station... it's starts at 4:00a.m. and if i am lucky i'll be out of there by 9:00p.m., it's a long day....but it's cool, i get to see all the deer harvested....i think i get just as excited as the hunter bringing in his game when it's a trophy, i get the shakes just getting the stats, lol....i check all of the hunters in and out, i get the weights, sex, antler size...collect jaw bones and age the deer...pull ticks for testing...collect the heads of the male deer if the hunter will give em up, usually it's spikes that they give up....take pics of each harvest....they gut em....i have every hunt, but i already committed to working the 1st and 3rd day, after that i am hunting....i have 3-4 archery hunts, 3 muzzy hunts, 2 general gun hunts and a week long hog/dog hunt.....each hunt is 3-4 days, so i'll be hunting more than working ,, but i'm not complaining a bit....it's going to wear me out for sure, but i wouldnt have it any other way.....

The first season this fall for me will be dove season in September, then October bow season starts. Regular deer season starts in November and goes thru January, but I will stick to the bow from October thru January, haven't taken a gun deer hunting for about 5 years now

I will be going to Montana to archery hunt antelope the 2nd week in September and then our archery season starts the 3rd weekend of September. If I get a chance then I will be turkey hunting this fall also.

I won't start hunting til November here. Muzzleload comes in first. Then general gun comes in Thanksgiving Day.
I'll be hunting whitetail as usual. And the occasional hog.

Alyssa, we will be going to Miles City Montanta for our antelope hunt. Due to lack of funds this year we are going unguided.

Squirrel season starts September 1 (yeehaa!) Archery for deer is October 15, fall turkey starts a week after that then Shotgun deer season season starts in mid-November. And I fit college in between,lol!
