i totally agree with y'as about huntin. I think they should be considered hunters just as much as men!! there ya's go! I know up here in Ontario Canada, not many ladies hunt but i am sure that down in the southern states it is very common

I have never had a man say anything about me or my hunting abilities, and the guys I hunt with have been very helpful in answering my questions. And I think the guys in this forum are great. I have never felt like I was being talked down to or treated as any less of a hunter because I am female.

Maybe they say it behind my back because they know the wrath they would let loose if they said it to my face! LOL I have had more negative remarks from other women who don't hunt when they find out I do!

My hunting buddy is a woman... she hasn't had anybody (male or female) that I know of that thinks it's anything but cool that she hunts. My 2 daughters (8 and 4) go to the woods with me when it works out... it won't be to many more years and I'll be dragging THEIR deer out of the woods

Just for the record....I know a few ladies who hunt, and who are pretty dang good at it too. I definately support them in the outdoors.

oh and i have to add my hunting buddy's oldest daughter (freshman in H.S.) doesn't hunt but is starting to show some interest... anyway she was making fun of there biology class because this is the first year that they are doing ALL disection on the internet due to the fact they don't want anyone to get squimmish... so guess what?? she wants to gut the next deer we get to find out what it's like... the kicker is we're going to video tape it so she can take it in to be played in her biology class - teacher's ok with it as long as it's done in a professional manner
