    It's great that you are helping the young ladies get into archery! I can't answer your questions, but I bet if you put this post in the archery section you'll have lots of knowledgable people who can help you!

    See if they can put in a less harsh single cam in the one cam bow, or maybe greater % let off.

    Most companies have different cams that work in many different bows.

    Single cams are less likely to get out of tune, and are most likely generally more consistant which helps with accuracy once technique becomes good and consistant.
