have u ever had a dad( i know yall have ) or a boyfriend that thought u were some kind of out cast if u liked hunting when i told my dad when i was 7 that i wanted to go hunting with him he looked at me funny but said it was ok and then guys dont want to go out with u cause u hunt well all i say to them is u dont have to feal left out i will show u haw to shoot lol

I haven't had much trouble with what guys think of me and my hunting. In fact, after I convince them that I really DO hunt, they have always thought it was pretty cool and wished their other half would give it a try.

I live in the country and a lot of guys (and some women) hunt, so it isn't such a big deal. I am sure if I was looking for a bf in the city, it may be an issue.

Sorry ladies....I had to check this one out. Glad you weren't doggin us. I would love it if my wife halfway liked to hunt. She will hardly let me watch the outdoor channel if she is in the room. She does like venison though and is very supportive of my habit Keep huntin'

i think it is awesome that girls hunt!! it would be awesome to have a wife or girlfriend that hunts!! i sure dont look at girls funny if they tell me they hunt. i get a thrill out of the thought that women enjoy the outdoors as much as guys do!!

When I met my wife 11 years ago, she really seemed to get into hunting. She took her Hunter Safety Course, and small game hunted with me some. Then she seemed to lose interest. This past year she has re-gained interest, and wants to deer hunt with me this year. I think it is so cool. I hope I'm sitting along side her when she takes her first deer.

This past hunting season she has gotten into watching Realtree Roadtrips with me on Wednesday nights. I have a feeling that Michael Waddell has something to do with her re-gaining interest in hunting...LOL

I would think its awesome if my wife hunted, but she did let me name our four sons Hunter, Forrest, Marshal ( I work part time for US Marshals chasing thugs) and Sawyer, as in Tom Sawyer, so I cant complain....and the only turkeys to date she has ever cooked were freshly shot by me...or my sons.....if I had a daughter, she would be allowed to hunt if she wanted to..............and reference our other issues on the forum, well, we as mods are working on it....al

I met my wife in a bar talking about hunting and fishing and yes she does better than me sometimes but shes not picky about what she catches or shoots with her bow
