    Default Turkey hunting mouth Diaphrams

I think my wife would be a good turkey caller...she can really roll her r's, would make a great purr. The last time I was practicing, she tried to put the diaphram in her mouth, but it was too wide. By too wide, the frame itself would not fit her palate not to mention the white tape. Any advise on a brand or location to purchase a smaller sized diamphram call?

I've seen smaller ones by H.S. Strut at Fleet Farm as well. They probably aren't that easy to find, but they're out there.

I can't get them to fit right in my mouth either. I have tried to cut them down and that can work. I love my crystal slate.

Primos makes some narrower ones. Also try a youth model or trim the tape to fit.

Im 18 years old and a male and I still find that the smallest and best fitting mouth diaphragm for me is the HS Strut Youth Frames. Right underneath the name of the call, it will say "youth frame". They are usually the ones in red. They even have a bonus pakc with 3 different calls all in the youth fram. Them are the smallest I can find.

Cutt them to fit your mouth! If nothing else there is always the youth models!

Also might check into some custom made mouth calls!

I cut the ones my 9 year old uses to call turkeys and it works great for him and there is no loss of sound quality. That should do the trick if the youth ones are too big also.
