How To Set Up A QDM Cooperative
If you're like most hunters, your hunting takes place on a small piece of property. Maybe it's a 100-acre lease or a 30-acre family farm. Regardless, you can manage it for a healthier deer herd and better hunting -- especially if you work as a team with your neighbors.
Now's the time to start planning. If your neighbors hunt, chances are they'd like to see a healthier herd and better hunting, too. Invite them over for a cookout and discuss some options. Whether the goal is to shoot more does, protect yearling bucks, or increase the amount of food in a broad area, working with your neighbors is frequently the best way to go. In this video, the QDMA's Kip Adams explains in detail how to form a QDM cooperative, or co-op, with your neighbors.
