Whitetail research has shown us that hunting directly over a large, active scrape is not a productive approach because:

A-Only younger, less dominant bucks use scrapes regularly.

B-Only one buck uses each individual scrape or scrapeline, and you can’t be sure which one.

C-Bucks are more cautious approaching a scrape than any other site or area.

D-Most scrape activity occurs at night.
