He’s a hunter, a husband, a father, and a down right normal guy who found out what a blog was on March 16, 2007. Welcome to the foundation of higher learning brought to you by David Blanton. (Sarcasm is accepted.)
We wrapped up filming the “on camera” opens and closes for Realtree’s Monster Bucks Television yesterday and it was just a lot of fun. There’s no other way to put it. After I left the set at Realtree Farms and drove back to the Realtree offices yesterday I realized that as blessed as I am to have a job like mine, it was times like yesterday that bring a real deep satisfaction.
But why was it so incredibly fun yesterday? Well, Bill and I were joined by Michael Waddell for the first time all year to help us host Monster Bucks Television and since I don’t get to just “hang out” with Michael as much as I used to (with his crazy schedule of appearances and promotions) it was so much fun to laugh and share stories about hunts from the past. Of course, that is what Monster Bucks TV is all about, to take a look at some older hunts and reminisce . . . but I’m telling you it turned out to be plan out fun! No person can tell a story as funny as Michael.
So Michael, on behalf of Bill, me and everyone at Realtree, thanks so much for bringing your humor and excitement to the set of Monster Bucks television.
Now, I’m not about to tell you some of the things we laughed about when the cameras were NOT recording! But it DID have to do with hunting! I promise.
