While Hunting with Judd Cooney at Iowa Trophy Whitetail Outfitters. First day on stand a mid morning snow started to fall. Approx. 6" of snow covered the ground in a few hours, the only easy food for the Deer, were the standing rows of corn.
While sitting in a Darkwoods Double FX Pro-Hunter Blind covered in Realtree APG Pattern this buck along with 10-12 other bucks and does were feeding had No Idea I was sitting there for over 2 hours watching them dine for the afternoon. ~
120 yard shot,,,, dropped him.
20 minutes after I shot... 20 minutes before dark...a Monster Brute came out well over 160class.....Agh
