Dan Whitmus

I've been bowhunting for 28 seasons all over.  I am a 2 time world elk calling champion.  I have over a dozen state and regional calling tiles and retired from competitive calling in 2006.  I guide hunts all over the world; arctic for grizzly, caribou, dall sheep, Old Mexico for mule deer, New Zealand for red stag tahr chamois elk, Colorado for deer, elk, antelope.  I have also done some work in Africa as well. On a busy year, I'll be in the field up to 10 months all over the globe.  I love traveling about doing seminars on elk, turkey, and predator calling.  I ran a 20 thousand acre duck and goose lease in Washington state for four years so I have rich waterfowl background as well, but mainly focus on big game and predators now.  My spare time is spent shooting my Mathews bow, my pistols, and my hunting rifles.  I'm in the gym every spare minute, and do a bit of MMA training and fighting.  "Everyday is a gift, live it!"
