Fred Eichler
Fred Eichler is the owner of Fulldraw Outfitters in Colorado, where he guides 9 months of the year for antelope, elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, bear, mountain lion and turkey. Fred is also the host of Easton Bowhunting TV show on the Outdoor Channel and Predator Nation on the Sportsman's Channel as well as a guest host on Muzzy Bad to the Bone Bowhunting TV. When he is not hunting or guiding hunters he splits his time between wildlife photography, freelance writing and trapping.
Fred worked at Bear Archery in Gainesville, Florida and managed an archery shop in Fort Collins, Colorado. He has been bowhunting for 30 years.
On August 6th, 2007 Fred harvested a Stone Sheep to complete the North American Superslam with his recurve bow. He was the first person to harvest all of the 29 North American species recognized by Pope and Young with a recurve bow. He has also numerous African animals to his credit with a recurve bow. A prominent outdoor writer, Fred has written one book, BOWHUNTING WESTERN BIGGAME and has been a contributor on many other outdoor related books. His articles and photos have appeared in Bowhunter, Bowhunting World, North American Hunter and Traditional Bowhunter magazines. He resides in Trinidad, Colorado with his wife Michele, three boys, eleven hounds, one golden retriever, six horses, twenty chickens, one goat, and an ugly cat.
