Greg Hubbel Jr.
With 16 individual world wildlife calling titles, 15 year old Greg Hubbell, Jr is on his way to re-writing the record books for competition calling. In 2008 the Blemont, California native became the first person in competitive wildlife calling history to win world wildlife calling contests with both a reed (duck or goose), a diaphragm (turkey or elk), then to top it off with his voice 3 times (2 in the voice division at the RMEF World Elk Calling Championships (2009 & 2010), and in February 2011 winning the Junior World Swan Calling Championships in North Carolina.
Greg began his outdoor experiences at 8 months old, catching hsi first trout from a stroller. He has since hunted waterfowl at sea level and mule deer up to 13,000 feet, letting his passion for hunting drive him to the next level. Today, you can catch Greg traveling across the nation competing in calling contests or catch him the tube showcasing his calling skills on such shows as The Today Show on NBC, Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Steve Harvey Big Time Show, and CBS Sunday Morning. In 2008, a sports segement done on Greg Jr was nominated for a N. California Emmy Award.
Greg Jr plays baseball and is the quarteback for his high school football team. Greg hopes to make a career as a professional baseball player after college with college being his #1 goal. He really enjoys the travel, competitions, all the really nice people he meets across the USA, and truly honored to be a part of Team Realtree.
